Introduction

Welcome to Emerging Memory Devices Laboratory

IoT and AI have recently emerged as core technologies for advanced future industry fast analyzing and processing vast amounts of data efficiently have become a hot topic. As the Von Neumann architecture based on the existing series computing method has revealed its inherent limits the development of computing systems achieving a high level of efficiency by breaking through the existing format draw its increasing importance. Human brain inspired parallel process computing system is attracting a huge attention as the most emerging alternative to overcome this challenge. Therefore, development of high-performance neuromorphic device is inevitable which is the basis of parallel computing architecture and PIM as well. Based on fundamental physics-based approach active research on Next-generation Memory devices and Artificial Intelligent Sensor networks are being intensively carried out currently. We are exploring wide range of research in terms of H/W and S/W via collaboration with semiconductor industry and other relevant university. Challenge of young brains with passion and creativeness having interest in semiconductor are always welcome.
